Arcade Sports Apps Surge in Latin America on iOS Q4 2020

In the fourth quarter of 2020, the Arcade Sports category on iOS experienced significant user engagement in Latin America. Here's a snapshot of how the top apps fared, with data courtesy of Sensor Tower.

Jump Dunk 3D, published by Voodoo, showed an impressive increase in downloads, starting at 277K in the last week of November and hitting a peak of 56K in mid-December. The weekly active users followed a similar trend, with a peak of 85K in the same period.

Score! Hero, from First Touch Games Ltd., also saw a steady rise in both its revenue and active user base. Revenue grew from 2K USD at the end of November to 4K USD by the year's end, while weekly active users increased from 106K to 109K in the same timeframe.

Wildlife Inc's Tennis Clash: Sports Stars Game had a notable performance, with its revenue reaching a high of 17K USD in the week leading up to Christmas. Downloads saw a slight dip from 13K to 10K, but active users remained stable, closing the year at 110K.

Miniclip.com's Mini Football - Soccer game experienced fluctuations in revenue, peaking at 5K USD in late December. Downloads saw a gradual increase towards the end of the quarter, from 6K to 7K, and weekly active users rose from 15K to 17K.

Lastly, Head Ball 2 - Soccer Game by MASOMO LIMITED maintained a steady revenue stream, ending the quarter with 2K USD. The app's downloads remained consistent at around 9K, and it finished the year with an active user base of nearly 79K.
